Job description
Key Responsibilities:

● Design and develop new product lines in line with current fashion trends and market demands.

● Create sketches, technical drawings, and design specifications for new collections.

● Collaborate with the product development and production teams to ensure designs are executed correctly and efficiently.

● Source fabrics, trims, and materials required for new collections.

● Conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay updated with industry trends.

● Oversee the fitting process and make necessary adjustments to ensure the perfect fit and finish.

● Manage the design process from concept to final production, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.

● Assist in creating mood boards, color palettes, and trend forecasts for upcoming seasons.

● Maintain a thorough knowledge of the manufacturing process to ensure designs are feasible for
● Strong portfolio demonstrating creative design skills and technical proficiency.

● Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW, etc.

● Excellent understanding of garment construction, pattern making, and textiles.

● Strong attention to detail with a keen eye for color, texture, and aesthetics.

● Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.

● Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members.

● Knowledge of sustainable and ethical fashion practices is a plus.
