Front Office Software Developer

As a Barclays Front Office Software Developer, you will be joining Markets Pre Trade team within Trade Capture and Workflow Macro Business area. You will be instrumentally accountable for the development and support of all front and middle office applications and systems that are used to support the global markets business.

What will you be doing?
• Participating across the full development lifecycle with project managers, business analysts, senior developers and testers
• Understanding business requirements, developing suitable technical solutions and executing the necessary code changes needed for those requirements to be met
• Executing testing and writing unit/continuous integration tests to prove both the success of changes and avoid regression
• Contributing to discussions regarding system architecture and improvement of processes
• Delivering changes requested by Front Office and Middle Office stakeholders
• Providing a complexity of problems and impact the role has on developing or enhancing existing systems or processes
• Actively ensuring that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements
• Interacting with, both internally and externally stakeholders

Bachelor\xe2\x80\x++s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or similar
• Experience in Java, Spring Framework, programming experience, reading, writing and debugging multi-threaded code
• Ability to work in a team environment with experience in the full Software Development Lifecycle
• Proficient in writing SQL queries, stored procedures, functions and views, SDLC methodology
