Job Description

An opportunity has arisen to join the Women’s Health Team is looking to recruit a full time staff nurse to develop skills in Colposcopy, Hysteroscopy, General Gynaecology and Early pregnancy . The service is dedicated to providing high quality care with with good support from consultants, nurse specialists and administration staff.

This post is predominantly based in the Gynaecology Outpatients, Colposcopy and Women's Diagnostic Unit.

We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic staff nurse with excellent communication skills, to join our team.

The successful applicant will be responsible for assisting in procedures, and day to day running of general and acute gynaecology areas to provide support and reassurance to patients attending the unit.

To provide support and reassurance to patients attending the unit. The successful applicant will be encouraged to further knowledge and skills in the area of women’s health with specialist study and professional development including cytology qualification and a dedicated competency programme.
