The Opportunity
Our client, a prominent Commonwealth Department, is seeking an Experienced Speechwriter for an exciting opportunity to shape the narrative of key government communications. This role offers a unique platform to craft speeches and high-level content for senior leaders, including the Minister and executive team.

Key Responsibilities:
Speech Development: Write compelling speeches and communication materials for senior leaders, aligning messages with key government objectives.
Stakeholder Management: Navigate and prioritise competing tasks while delivering high-quality outcomes under tight deadlines.
Mentorship: Provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to internal speechwriting teams, enhancing overall writing capacity and return on investment.
What You’ll Bring:
Proven experience in government and executive-level speechwriting.
A degree or diploma in journalism, communications, public relations, or marketing, or an equivalent blend of experience and recognised skills.
Ability to handle high-pressure environments and deliver polished, persuasive, and politically attuned content.
Security Clearance Requirement:
Candidates must be Australian Citizens and hold a minimum NV1 clearance (or have the ability to obtain one).
