Controls Software Engineer

£75,000 package

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Controls Software Engineer. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, working with high-speed automated machinery, equipment and robotic systems. The role will include control system definition, standards, design, specification, and concept. You will be resolving controls and commissioning related issues within fast moving pressurised industrial sectors.

Key experience and skills required for the Controls Software Engineer:

Experience of writing plc software from first principles. Ideally in SIEMENS S7 or Beckhoff is another option.

Programming of logic, motion control functions, and the integration into the fieldbus communication.

On-site commissioning and training

Structured text programming experience.

Ability to read electrical drawings.

Documentation such as FDS, O&M manuals, etc.

Full UK driving licence
