Digital Marketing Specialist Content Creator

Original Spirit Co is a family owned distillery based in Somerville on the Mornington Peninsula. We are best known for our GINFUSION range of spirits. Over the past few years Original Spirit Co has experienced significant growth and we are looking to take our digital presence to the next level.

We are looking for a digital all-rounder to join our team. Someone who is confident in developing our brand online and also driving e-commerce performance. This is an exciting and varied digital marketing and content production role suited for a passionate and independent professional.

Full time as well as part time applicants will be considered.

Responsibilities:
⦁ Produce engaging visual and text-based content for social media channels - primarily Facebook, Instagram and Google. Translate our brand values into content for our followers. You will be a great story-teller and the driving force behind our online brand development.

⦁ Manage website and social media channels. Develop, plan and schedule posts according to our brand values. Respond and engage with our online community.

⦁ Develop and execute e-commerce and online advertising/marketing strategies. You will be responsible for managing and driving advertising performance via Facebook, Instagram, E-mail, Google Adwords & Microsoft Adwords.

⦁ You will be required to provide updates about e-commerce performance and report on key social media metrics and analytics. The successful candidate will be curious and always willing to adapt and educate on new digital trends.

About you:

A relevant bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field (e.g. graphic design) is preferred but not essential.
3-5 years experience in digital marketing and content creation.
Ability to initiate and complete projects independently.
Excellent time-management, organisation and planning skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to cater to different audiences.
Expert knowledge of the industry and the changing digital landscape.
Creative ability with a proven record of producing engaging content. For example: Ad campaigns, Blog posts, Instagram/Facebook posts, Digital design projects,
An interest in spirits, cocktails and craft alcohol culture is preferred but not essential.
