Assistant Commercial Accountant

Job description
Macildowie Finance are working with a well-respected and well-known Leicestershire based manufacturing business to recruit for an Assistant Commercial Accountant role on a permanent basis.

This role will be a key business partner to the commercial team, operating an integral position linking the finance team with the wider business including the operational teams.

This business operates on a hybrid basis, with generally 3 days per week required in the office.

Some Of The Responsibilities Include
• Involvement in daily / weekly reporting to sales and margin
• Overseeing preparation of product costings, ensuring accuracy of product costs
• Business partnering with the commercial and operational teams
• Maintenance and tracking of margins

The Ideal Candidate Will Be/have
• Ideally Part Qualified/working towards a professional qualification
• At least 2 years' working within finance, with understanding of key finance elements
• Commercially astute, with the ability to 'ask the questions' to link the commercial dots
• Confidence to communicate across different types of stakeholders
