About the Role:

Due to continued business growth, our client is seeking a motivated, client-focused Senior Accountant to join their dynamic team.

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this role involves enhancing client engagement by working closely with both the internal team and clients to deliver outstanding service. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of client service, generating new business opportunities, leveraging your expertise, and fostering the development of high-performance teams.

As a skilled Senior Accountant, you will manage diverse portfolios whilst analyzing complex problems, design and implement practical solutions, and manage projects to ensure both quality and profitability.

Duties:
Oversee a diverse and dynamic client base with a portfolio valued at over $1M in fees, ensuring all compliance and advisory needs are met.
Deliver top-tier professional services to clients, offering guidance and support to junior staff.
Communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clarity and professionalism
Provide expert guidance on a wide range of financial matters, helping clients navigate complex regulations and achieve their business goals.
Liaise with clients on all relevant matters, providing exceptional service and building strong relationships.
Drive continuous improvement in our practice, implementing best practices in accounting and client service.
Skills and Experience:
Minimum 7 years’ experience in a business services/tax within Public Practice, with a proven track record of success in managing client relationships and leading teams.
CPA or CA qualified, with a deep understanding of accounting principles and regulations.
Experience with accounting and taxation software such as Xero, MYOB, and XPM.
Experience with trusts, partnerships, individuals, companies and Superannuation funds
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
Technical proficiency and sound compliance knowledge, with competency in using Excel.
Must be a Permanent Resident of Australia
