Location: Brooklands Healthcare Ltd, 25 Northland Road

Conway Group Healthcare have a vacancy for a Painter/Decorator to join their existing maintenance team (North west based).

Hours: Full Time

As part of the property maintenance team, the successful candidate will support our existing painter to provide painting and decorating services to 8 nursing homes across Northern Ireland. Full clean driving license and access to own vehicle is essential as travel between sites is a requirement of the role.

About The Role

Main duties and responsibilities
• To be able to complete maintenance and refurbishment work, of a decorating nature to the highest standards
• Wall papering experience essential
• Work with the team to deliver the most cost effective and highest quality preparation/repair/ application of decorative products
• Carry out a range of external and internal painting and redecoration tasks in occupied and empty properties whilst achieving a durable and quality finish.
• Be familiar with using tools to prepare surfaces for painting and decorating.
• To be responsible for maintaining your own health and safety whilst at work and for the health and safety of colleagues, people who use services and for alerting your manager to any hazards or potential risks to health and safety.
• To ensure that an appropriate level of confidentiality is maintained around issues which may be personally or commercially sensitive.
• To be responsible for the establishment and maintenance of positive working relationships both with external agencies and internal departments and with individual colleagues with whom interaction is required.
• To undertake any other duties and accountabilities which would be lawful, reasonable and appropriate to the role.
