Heat Treat Technical Operator

Qualifications
(Recent experience) in heat treating with expert level working knowledge of equipment, operation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs
In-depth familiarity with and exp. operating under AMS 2750 & AMS276+
Mechanical & electrical ability to troubleshoot and repair vacuum & atmosphere furnaces
Prior experience programming traditional DIN style & PLC based controllers
Responsibilities
Troubleshooting and repair of vacuum furnaces required i.e. programs, leak testing and repair, pump and motor repairs, heating elements, thermocouple replacements and other mechanical aspects of furnaces
Conducts training on furnace operation and best practices for other operators
Serves as plant-wide SME on furnaces & ovens
Ability to program and run multiple different furnace/oven controllers
Perform S.A.T, T.U.S & instrument calibrations
Review data from pyrometry testing, generate NADCAP compliant reports
