Qualifications

A Computer Science or equivalent technical degree and 6-12 years of relevant experience is required
Must have experience developing services for Windows including Windows Event Logging, Windows registry, WMI, Event Tracing for Windows (ETW), and Windows file system
Coding skills: Golang, and Python
Only candidates available and ready to work directly as NJAI/Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position

Responsibilities
The role is located in Herndon, VA
Developing Windows solutions, including deep diving into troubleshooting/debugging internally developed code (written in Golang, and Python)
Direct feature development, the engineer will enhance the functionality of existing systems, increase our ability to scale, and contribute to all aspects of the software development lifecycle
Collaborating with other engineers on development of software, updating/enhancing our current software, automation of support processes, and documentation of our systems

Software Developer Engineer III

• Developing Windows solutions, including deep diving into troubleshooting/debugging internally developed code (written in Golang, and Python).

Basic Qualifications:
• A Computer Science or equivalent technical degree and 6-12 years of relevant experience is required.
• Must have experience developing services for Windows including Windows Event Logging, Windows registry, WMI, Event Tracing for Windows (ETW), and Windows file system.
• Coding skills: Golang, and Python.
• Other desired technical skills include Windows kernel expertise, UNIX/LINUX.
