Responsibilities
Performs the day-to-day activities of the Housekeeping Department to assure our facility is maintained in a clean, safe, and comfortable manner for all patients and visitors
Performs various cleaning assignments as directed by supervisor
Includes but not limited to dusting, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning bathrooms, emptying trash, etc
Abides by safe and proper handling of all chemical/cleaning products and stocking of housekeeping carts
Cleans and tidies all assigned areas to satisfactory standards within designated timelines
Creates/follows daily job duties lists in collaboration with supervisor and other housekeepers, maintaining a record all serviced rooms/areas
Maintains all equipment in good working condition, reporting any needs for repairs
Reports equipment/product needs, policy violations and/or patient change in conditions
Handles reasonable guests’ complaints/requests and informs others when required to ensure patient and guest satisfaction
