Job Description
TAFT is seeking a dynamic Marketing and Communications Co-ordinator to assist with the implementation of the marketing and communication strategies for WOMAD NZ, Centuria Taranaki Garden Festival and two arts festivals per year. These events are recognised nationally and as such require a co-ordinator that can assist in presenting forward thinking strategies to exacting standards.
The successful candidate will need at least five years’ experience working within a fast paced marketing and communications team.
You must be able to deliver multiple strands of the strategy over several festivals at any one time.
This role requires a hands on, digitally savvy marketer. You will be up to date with all the current mechanisms for marketing via social media etc . The role requires the delivery of digital marketing strategies, social media communication, content creation, backend abilities in updating and editing websites and crafting creative copywriting are key to this role.
This role requires stamina, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work with a small team that delivers on big visions.
This position is .5 of an FTE (20 hours per week) and requires the successful candidate to be able to work in New Plymouth. Reporting to the Manager Marketing and Communications.
