The Ayre Hotel is a prime hotel in Kirkwall in the Orkney islands with recent refurbishment and 65 bedrooms and apartments and a strong F & B sale, we are looking for a strong Head Chef who can be inventive and creative with the menus and delight our guests regularly.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Head Chef at New World Hospitality in Scotland, United Kingdom. The Head Chef will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations, planning and creating menus, managing food inventory and budget, supervising kitchen staff, ensuring food safety and quality standards, and collaborating with other departments to deliver outstanding dining experiences.
Qualifications
• Culinary Arts, Food Safety, and Menu Planning skills
• Experience in kitchen operations and managing food inventory
• Leadership and team management skills
• Creativity and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of local and international cuisines
• Certification in Food Safety and Sanitation
