Software Engineer (Python/Django) - c.£40,000 Once per quarter in London office Remote (+/- 2 hours of GMT) After successfully placing a Senior in the team, our InsureTech client are looking for a confident Software Engineer to join their product engineering team. Reporting to the Head of Product Engineering, you’ll be working across the tech stack and the core platform. We're looking for someone with around 18 months / 2 years of commercial engineering experience, ideally competent with Python / Django. You’ll work across the stack to develop new features, contribute product ideas, explore infrastructure upgrades, deliver key projects with meaningful business impact - and more! Key Tech The client hosts infrastructure on AWS, core application is written in Python/Django. It is supported by an event-driven microservices written in typescript/node. They use vue.js on frontend and built an internal design system. CI/CD pipelines run on CircleCI, they're using Terraform to define infrastructure. We use snowflake, airbyte and dbt for the data warehouse, holistics as BI tool. They do not require candidates to have experience in these specific technologies, as long as you are willing to adapt to the tech stack they use. But Python/Django are a must.
