A new opportunity for a Mechanical Technician is now available to join a reputable Oil and Gas company based in Aberdeen. You will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of the companies assets before and after deployment. You must possess a proactive approach to safety and company standards. If you take pride in your work and are looking to join a hardworking team then you will hit the ground running within the environment.
Responsibilities
• Perform maintenance on assets before and after deployment.
• Diagnose faults promptly and efficiently.
• Maintain records.
• Inspect and test assets making sure they meet safety standards.
• Coordinate with Project Managers.
• Participate in training programs.
• Collaborate with the Asset Team.
Key Competencies
• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience.
• Ability to identify, diagnose, and resolve mechanical issues efficiently.
• Meticulous in performing inspections, maintenance, and documentation.
Qualifications
• Modern Apprenticeship (or equivalent) in Engineering – Essential
• HNC (or equivalent) in Engineering qualification –
• Demonstrate understanding of Mechanical Assembly and Hydraulic drawings – Essential
• Able to use and identify technical tools and instruments
