Job Description

Qualifications
Education: Graduate from an Accredited/Certified School of Physical Therapy Assistant
Experience: None prior
Required: Licensed as a Physical Therapy Assistant by the State of Nebraska
Valid driver's license
Conditional: CPR certified within 3 months of hire
Required: Be proficient with computer skills and programs including, but not limited to: Microsoft Word, Excel, and Internet Explorer
All offers of employment are subject to a background check and drug screen
Maintains appropriate certifications

Full time 40 hours a week Sunday - Saturday
Reporting Relationship: Reports to Director of Rehabilitative Services
General Summary of Responsibilities: Provides patient treatment as directed by Physical Therapist to in-patients, outpatients, home health, and area nursing homes
Complete patient care documentation
Provides education to patients/family, other team members, employers, caregivers, and other individuals/organizations within the patients realm of care
Participates in and on departmental and hospital wide teams and programs to ensure the highest quality and efficient delivery of care
To include: departmental chart reviews, policy and procedure manuals, quality assurance insures, and ing technicians on needed supplies
