Introduction:

We are a growing speciality Delivery business based in the Somerset & Devon area, and due to winning an influx of new business are looking for a van driver to join our fast-paced company for an immediate start.

CMC couriers are a rapidly growing, family owned delivery business founded in 2012. We partner with the nations leading delivery companies who have a 4.6 out of 5 score on one of the biggest customer review websites.

What we’re looking for:

We are looking for motivated individuals who are keen to work as part of a fantastic team but also individually, as a multi-drop courier.

This is a fast paced role delivering up to 60 parcels a day to residential and business addresses; around Devon, Somerset, and Dorset.

What we need:

Essential:
• A full UK driving license and right to work in the UK is essential.
• A van is essential.
• All points considered on an individual basis.
• The successful applicant will need to apply for Goods in Transit and Public Liability Insurance (advice provided).
• You will need to be self-employed.
• The right attitude and behaviours, a quality focus and strong focus on customer service. There will be early morning starts so a driven, self-starter is a must for this position.
• Ability to lift up to 30kg without the need for assistance.
• Our technology is extremely easy to use, but experience working with GPS tools is essential.

Desirable:
• Previous delivery experience is not essential but highly desired, full training will however be given.
• Previous customer service experience, or experience working irregular/shift hours.
• Regularly working with transporting heavy loads and goods.

The process:
• We have an extremely straightforward interview process, a conversation with our Director and Talent Acquisition advisor, either face to face or via video.
