SEMI-SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

LOCATION - DERBY

Salary £30,000 - £45,000 depending on experience

Are you a semi-senior accountant oozing for autonomy within your role? Our well established client, a very successful firm of chartered certified accountants based in Derby, are looking to take on their next semi-senior accountant and due to growth, this is a newly created role!

We are looking for an enthusiastic and forward thinking professional who manages their own portfolio of clients and enjoys a varied role and direct contact with clients with no micromanagement.

About you
• You would have a minimum of 6 years plus experience within a practice environment
• Part/fully qualified AAT, ACCA or ACA (not essential, experience will be considered)
• Have your own portfolio of clients
• Accounts preparation of Limited companies, Sole Traders and Partnerships.
• Preparation of corporation tax computations, Income tax computations and preparation of VAT returns.
• Production of quarterly or monthly management accounts for a portfolio of clients.
