Job Description
Lead and mentor the accounting team, fostering a culture aligned with company values. Provide training to ensure staff development and performance improvement.
Financial Management: Oversee financial operations with a focus on growth and expansion. Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, analyze performance against budgets, and standardize financial policies across all locations.
Systems and Processes: Ensure data consistency and process optimization to improve efficiency. Oversee accounting systems and software management.
Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with finance teams and external partners. Communicate financial results and manage month-end/year-end close processes.
Compliance and Controls: Maintain policies, ensure regulatory compliance, and manage internal controls. Support internal and external audits.
Qualifications:
Required: Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance, CPA required. 10+ years of experience, 5+ in leadership. Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills. Proficient in accounting software and Excel. Hybrid work from Chicago HQ.
Preferred: Experience in hospitality or shared services, with occasional travel.
