Job Description
Oversee the preparation and accuracy of financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
Lead the accounting department, managing general ledger activities, reconciliations, and month-end close processes.
Prepare and review quarterly and annual financial reports, ensuring timely submissions.
Manage internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and responses.
Develop and implement internal controls and accounting policies to improve efficiency and ensure compliance.
Work closely with the CFO and senior management to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.
Ensure the organization’s tax filings and regulatory reports are completed accurately and on time.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives for accounting processes and reporting.
Mentor and develop accounting staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
8+ years of progressive experience in accounting and financial reporting, preferably in a leadership role.
In-depth knowledge of GAAP, SEC reporting, and financial statement preparation.
Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to mentor and develop talent.
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) and financial reporting tools.
Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
