Location: Gurgaon

Salary – INR 3 LPA – 6 PLA

Job Summary:

We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic Assistant Fashion Designer to join our team. The Assistant Fashion Designer will assist in the design and development of our fashion lines, collaborating with senior designers and the creative team to bring innovative and marketable concepts to life. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for fashion, a keen eye for detail, and excellent design skills.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist in the conceptualization and development of new fashion collections.

2. Research current fashion trends, fabrics, and techniques to inspire and inform design concepts.

3. Create sketches, technical drawings, and mood boards to communicate design ideas.

4. Collaborate with senior designers to execute design concepts that align with brand aesthetics and target market.

5. Assist in sourcing materials and trims for prototyping and production.

6. Participate in fittings and garment construction, providing input on fit, fabric, and construction techniques.

7. Support the design team in preparing presentations/reports for internal reviews on excel.

8. Stay updated on industry developments, attending fashion shows, trade fairs, and workshops as necessary.

+. Maintain organized records of design concepts, sketches, and materials.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or related field.

2. 0-2 years of experience in fashion design, preferably in a similar role.

3. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) and other design software.

4. Strong sketching and technical drawing skills.

5. Knowledge of garment construction and pattern-making.

6. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

7. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.

8. A keen eye for color, texture, and proportion.
