Job description
SW Interiors Ltd are a quality bespoke joinery fit-out contractor based in Halifax, West Yorkshire. We work closely with several architects and interior designers throughout the UK. We manufacture all aspects of quality bespoke joinery from a single door and frame to a full joinery package, either on a supply only or a supply, delivered and installed bases. We also project manage all our own sites and work with our ongoing clients in the following sectors, Office, Retail, Restaurant and Bar, Hotels, Hospitals and private clients.

The role

We are looking to recruit an experienced Bench Hand Joiner on a fulltime basis. Experience is required in manufacturing traditional joinery such as timber doors, frames, windows, staircases and various counters etc. The ideal candidate should be able to work independently or as part of a team to produce high quality joinery items. This role is predominantly factory based, however there may be occasions when site work is required to install and fit our bespoke joinery items.

Candidate Experience:
• Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience and must have a working knowledge in Traditional Joinery inc. Timber Doors/Windows Etc.
• Ability to work with technical drawings
• Operate a range of joinery machinery
• Work with hardwood and softwood and sheet materials
• Excellent attention to detail to achieve the required level of finish
• Own tools
• Flexible and reliable
• Always demonstrate a positive attitude
• A genuine interest in the industry
• Driving license advantageous.
• Have good communication skills to work with our discerning clients and other trades

The hourly rate is negotiable, depending on your experience and working knowledge of the industry.
