Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
Strong Accounting/ Auditing background
Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Strong project management, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Aptitude to grasp new concepts, and work individually or in a collaborative work environment
Ability to work on cases in a fast-paced environment
Benefits
Compensation: $65,000-$85,000
Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications
Responsibilities
Perform investigative accounting and discovery tasks
Work on litigation and business valuation cases (matrimonial, business, and commercial)

Soni's growing Central New Jersey client is looking for an Accountant to join their litigation team. The Accountant will be responsible for the following:

Responsibilities:
• Perform investigative accounting and discovery tasks
• Work on litigation and business valuation cases (matrimonial, business, and commercial)
• Help facilitate and/ or prepare various reports for use in litigation proceedings and client communications
• Help manage relationships with clients, attorneys, and opposing experts
• Work with senior staff to ensure report analysis adequately supports conclusions reached
• Conduct market research
• Manage deadlines, client deliverables, and other supporting documents within a team environment
• Maintain commitment to firm’s best practices and consistently demonstrate ethical behavior

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance

• This role will also accept the title of Staff Accountant who meets the requirements of this position
