Role Overview: Warehouse Operative for Fabrics

The Warehouse Operative will be an integral part of our warehouse team, responsible for efficiently handling, storing, and dispatching fabric rolls. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse operations and a dedication to maintaining safety standards. The successful candidate must be reliable, committed, and capable of heavy lifting.

Key Responsibilities
• Operate Forklift Trucks (FLT) to safely handle and move heavy fabric rolls.
• Work collaboratively with the warehouse team to maintain an orderly and efficient warehouse environment.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations, promoting a safe workspace for all employees.
• Use computer systems and scanners.
• Follow all established warehouse procedures and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Essential Skills And Qualifications
• Proven experience in a warehouse environment.
• Use of computers and scanners to track inventory and manage orders.
• Certification for operating Forklift Trucks (FLT) is highly desirable.
• Able to perform heavy lifting and handle large fabric rolls repetitively.
• Reliability and commitment to consistently deliver high-quality work.
• Good health and safety awareness, with a common sense approach to problem-solving.
• Effective team player with excellent communication skills.
