Qualifications
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
Proven experience in a similar HR Generalist role within the manufacturing industry
Demonstrated expertise in Human Resources (HR) Administration
Proficiency in using HRIS - Human Resources Information Systems
Basic computer skills coupled with proficiency in MS Office including MS Excel and understanding of Excel Formulas
Strong organizational skills with the ability to organize meetings and manage files effectively
A clear understanding and application of organizational effectiveness strategies
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to interpret and explain HR policies to employees and managers
Knowledge of labor legislation and its application in the workplace
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality

We are in search of a HR Generalist to join our team in the manufacturing industry located in WARREN, Michigan. In this role, you will be tasked with a range of responsibilities including recruitment, payroll administration, team member orientation, timekeeping and attendance management. This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities
• Conduct recruitment activities to attract and hire qualified candidates
