Job description
Responsibilities:

- Ride on garbage truck to assist the Driver service customers – will load refuse bags and bring containers to the truck for proper disposal;
- Performs other related duties as assigned;
- Clean the packer blade and truck body;
- Deliver positive customer service interactions;
- Assisting with vehicle maintenance;
- Operate packing mechanisms and levers to activate the loading arm;
- Directing the truck driver when backing.
- Help the driver navigate to various locations using GPS or maps
- Communicate effectively with the driver and customers
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance tasks, such as checking oil and tire pressure
- Assist the driver in loading and unloading goods and materials from the vehicle
- Ensure that all items are properly secured and organized for transport
