Responsibilities
This role will oversee key accounting functions, including payroll and WIP accounting, and support the Controller in managing financial operations
Key Responsibilities:Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance
Manage payroll processes, ensuring accurate and timely processing, with a focus on certified payroll compliance and Davis Bacon wages
Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
Ensure compliance with construction accounting standards and regulations
Monitor project costs and work with project managers to ensure accurate job costing
Assist in the preparation of financial reports for management and external stakeholders
Support the Controller in financial planning, analysis, and strategic initiatives
Conduct internal audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures
Handle month-end and year-end close processes
Assist with tax preparation and compliance
