Role Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a full-time on-site role based in Dublin. Site work will be required at various customer sites in the southern region. You will be using a wide range of materials and tools.

Due to the craft nature of this role the successful candidate must be comfortable working with their hands in a practical environment.

Our goal is for the successful candidate to learn all things belting and develop their own skills to add value to our customers. We would like the person to grow and progress with the company and the world of belting!

You will be part of a larger world-wide team with YONGLI.

Following a successful training & probation period, you will also be required to install belts at customer sites as part of a team and (eventually) independently. A Conveyor Belt Technician will be responsible for ensuring that our customer's conveyor belts are running smoothly by installing, maintaining, and repairing of all types conveyor belts. They will also be responsible for performing inspections, identifying problems, and recommending solutions to customers.

Requirements
• Mechanical and Electrical skills
• Natural curiosity in how things work
• Experience in maintenance and repair
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
• Basic computer skills
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strong attention to detail and safety protocols
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Team player

Hours of work

Monday - Friday: 8am to 4.30pm

We offer 24/7 breakdown cover to our customers, and as such occasional weekend work and out of hours is required as per the on call rota which includes all fitters.
