Our client is a successful firm of accountants located in Stanmore, Middlesex, who are recruiting for an experienced Bookkeeper to join their bookkeeping team. This is a full time permanent role, Monday-Friday +am-5pm with parking available.Working as part of a dynamic team, you will manage a varied portfolio of clients and undertake the following duties;-Bookkeeping to Trial Balance-Entering sales and purchase invoices, carrying out reconciliation of bank and primary control accounts including PAYE, debtors and creditors, using Xero-Completing and submitting VAT returns using Xero-Accruals and prepayments-Liaising with HMRC on the behalf of clients-Processing weekly payment runsCandidates applying should hold a relevant accounting qualification such as AAT, have a strong working knowledge of Xero and have a minimum of 4 years bookkeeping experience, ideally within an accountancy practice.Fame Recruitment is an equal opportunities employer.
