We have an exciting opportunity to join a growing, family-run business in Ashton-under-Lyne. At Challenger Site Services, we provide portable toilets and other site sanitation services to customers across the North West of England

Hours and pay

Your working hours would generally be 7am to 4pm, Monday to Friday, though you may be asked to work slightly longer depending on business need, particularly during busier months. However, we do not work weekends, nor do we operate changing shift patterns so you can balance the role with your personal life and/or family commitments. You will start and finish your day at our depot in Ashton-under-Lyne.

The position is full time hourly rate is £13.50 per hour, or £2+,835 per year on a full time basis.

The role

As a HGV Driver/Service Attendant, you will be responsible for the conducting effluent tank empties and making water deliveries to construction sites across the North West of England. You will be allocated a daily list of jobs in a pre-planned route, and you will spend most of the day out on the road completing that route in a specially designed 18 tonnestanker. A category C UK driving licence and CPC qualification is therefore essential, and several years' experience of driving a vehicle of this type is desired.
