The Washington Area currently has an opening for an Advisory Services Principal to join our team. The candidate would work closely with the Resources (Power, Industrial, Waste) Advisory Services Business Group Director and Management Consulting Business Class Lead to implement strategic services across Resources market sectors and support other Business Groups, with a particular focus on continuing to build the asset management service line.
Primary Responsibilities
• Lead and support key projects, engage in business development, grow service lines, and develop staff.
• Serve as a project manager or principal in charge, overseeing management of technical resources to facilitate successful project delivery.
• Engage in client management, marketing, strategic planning, contract management, and other related activities.
• Grow service lines through a combination of business development, excellent project delivery, and internal collaboration.
• Mentor and train our Analysts and Consultants.
• Perform other duties as needed.

Advisory Services requires gaining knowledge of new subjects, markets, and trends. Candidates need to be curious and have the passion to continue learning.
Preferred Qualifications
• 25+ years of relevant experience.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Positive attitude and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and personnel.
• Ability to relate well to clients.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• A minimum of 20 years as a consultant and extensive related experience.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to compile and present summary level information.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and strong relationship, organizational, and follow-up skills.
• An attitude and commitment to being an active participant in our employee-owned culture is a must.
