Arthur Financial have partnered with a speciality insurance broker to support with their search for a Financial Accountant for an initial 6-month FTC (with a view to converting to permanent).
The successful candidates will support and run the monthly financial close process and gain exposure to external corporate activities. Along with technical skills, the individual is expected to have strong interpersonal skills, a solution-oriented mindset, and a team worker both within Finance and wider Group.
Main Responsibilities:
• Work closely with the Group Finance Director and Finance operations team for month-end ledger closings for multiple legal entities across the group.
• Assist in preparation of the monthly group financial statements.
• Monitor and control the group monthly and annual expense budgets.
• Prepare cash flow forecasts, and by currency as requested by the CFO.
• Management of inter-company processes.
• Preparation of quarterly and annual tax computations for and with external advisers.
• Assist year-end audit process.
Skills & Experience:
• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent).
• Insurance industry experience.
• Month-end close experience.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting and accounting analysis.
• Knowledge of insurance / MGA systems and processes.
