Chemistry Teacher Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver engaging and effective chemistry lessons in line with the curriculum, ensuring students develop both theoretical knowledge and practical skills.
• Prepare students for examinations, including planning and marking assignments, and providing constructive feedback to enhance learning.
• Supervise and conduct practical laboratory experiments, ensuring safety protocols are adhered to and that lab equipment is managed effectively.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students, offering personalised support and guidance where necessary.
• Monitor and track student progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to support academic growth.
• Collaborate with colleagues in the science department to continuously improve teaching strategies and curriculum development.
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student performance and progress.
• Attend professional development sessions to stay updated on the latest teaching methodologies and subject knowledge.
