IT AV Technician

Job description
I am recruiting for an IT/AV Technician for my client on a permanent basis. The role is Monday – Friday, 36 hours per week, 7.30am – 3.30pm Salary: £28,000 - £2+,000 per annum depending on experience.

The successful candidate will help to deliver audiovisual projects and support with IT systems. They will be enthusiastic about technology and be able to establish excellent working relationships. They will enjoy working in a busy environment and be ready to think on their feet and respond quickly to the needs of the employees.

IT Responsibilities

Installing and configuring hardware and software components

Troubleshoot hardware and software issues

Escalation of issues & incidents to the IT Operations Manager or Shared Service Team

AV Responsibilities

Set up Audiovisual equipment for functions

Providing AV support in setting up of equipment

Operate AV equipment and troubleshoot any issues

Manipulate and edit video footage.

Experience required

A strong understanding of IT and AV systems

Set up and operation of AV equipment

Experience of diagnosing and resolving technical errors

Experience of providing advice and guidance to users of IT equipment

Experience desired

Proven experience of server and network infrastructure

Proven experience of delivering customer focussed IT services
