Ignition Driver Recruitment is actively seeking qualified Class 1 Drivers in Birmingham, to work for one of the UK's leading supermarket chains, working on night shifts.

Before you apply for this role, you must be able to answer YES to all the questions below:

Do you have a full UK HGV Class 1 Driving Licence?

Do you have 12 months commercial driving experience?

Do you have an in-date DCPC and Digi Tacho Card?You will be asked to complete a full Drug & Alcohol test and also a driving assessment.

Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but no DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements, so if you have answered yes to all the questions above, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities & Duties For HGV Class 1 Drivers

Driving a Class 1 vehicle

Delivering chilled & ambient goods to stores throughout Birmingham

Cage & Pallet work (you will need to pull the cages & pallets onto the tail lift and the store will take them off for you)

Routine vehicle checks pre and post-shift

The Shift times & working hours of an HGV Class 1 Driver:

Average shift length: 10-hour shifts

Different start times (24-hour operation)

Thursday to Monday

18:00 - 06:00 start times

7-day operation - plenty of shifts available

Working pattern must include weekend work
