Job Description

Are you a Cyber Security professional seeking a new opportunity?

Would you like to work with a Scottish based powerhouse in Glasgow leading in the cyber space and providing security solutions for the wider organisation?

You will collaborate closely with internal teams and managed service partners, ensuring that all events and alarms are thoroughly investigated and resolved. You will play a pivotal role in addressing vulnerabilities across systems, enhancing the security operations, and responding effectively to cyber incidents.

You will work closely with internal teams and managed service partners to ensure that events and alarms are properly investigated and resolved. You'll lead and manage security incident responses, coordinate recovery efforts, and oversee vulnerability management. You'll also work with IT teams to address system vulnerabilities and improve detection capabilities. Regular reporting on security performance and engagement with stakeholders to reduce risks are key parts of the role.

A solid understanding of attack prevention techniques, experience with cybersecurity tools, and knowledge of enterprise IT networks are essential. Strong leadership and service management skills are also required, along with a desire for continuous learning and professional growth.

You'll work closely with the Head of Cyber Security, following their direction, complete investigation reports, enhance security processes, and build strong relationships with stakeholders, while driving improvements and accountability in security operations.

This role offers an opportunity for a security professional to make a significant impact on the cyber security posture and work closely with both internal teams and external partners to keep our systems safe.

This is a hybrid role that you can expect to be onsite 2-3 days per week in Glasgow dependent on the tasks and activities that week.
