Job Description
FinTech RS are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Payroll Officer based in Bridge of Don, Aberdeen.
This is a Full Time position with Hybrid working available (3 days in Office, 2 days at Home), starting ASAP on a Fixed Term Contract basis until May 2026.
Main Duties Include
• Responsibility for processing of monthly payroll, liaising closely with the payroll provider, HR department and wider business in order to process accurately and in line with policies and relevant legislation
• Management of payroll timetable and internal deadlines.
• Management and resolution of employee payroll queries.
• Management of payroll files and records.
• Payroll administration of salary sacrifice schemes.
• Maintenance of float and salary advance information.
• Management of the P11D/PSA process.
• Administration of pension scheme memberships.
• Journal creating and maintenance.
• Reconciliation of wage accounts.
• Administration of employee recharges.
• Maintenance and distribution of balance statements for Guaranteed Earnings to employees and relevant management.
Suitable Candidates Should Have The Following
• Proven experience of managing large payrolls with high headcounts
• AAT qualification desirable, but not essential
Candidates should be based locally to Aberdeen, and must hold the Right to Work in the UK.
