Our client is currently looking for a Web Designer to join their team in Uxbridge!

Salary: £28,000 per annum

Hours of work: 3+ per week, Monday to Thursday, 8:30 am-5:30 pm, Friday 8:30 am-5:00 pm

Web Designer Duties:
• Design websites using predefined theme layouts
• Design website from scratch using a wireframe for large-screen and mobile
• Maintaining client websites by updating content, products, and blogs
• Working independently with given specifications and within a team
• Liaising effectively with clients and other team members
• Work with customers to understand their requirements
• Make recommendations to customers based on experience gained with design and development
• Design image banners and upload to websites
• Testing and quality assurance of websites on multiple browsers and mobile compatibility.

Web Designer Requirements:
• Experience working with WordPress, Shopify, Webflow and extend functionality by using 3rd party plugins
• Able to use creative cloud applications such as Illustrator and Photoshop
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS and Javascript is a bonus
• Understanding of SEO aspects of web development is a bonus
• Have an excellent eye for design and detail
• Be a team player, with excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Strong organisational and collaboration skills
• Previous website designer experience and a good portfolio of past design and development projects.
