Lead Development Engineer |Python and Java

Quality Control team's biggest function is sourcing data, mastering data and storing it in cloud for internal and external usage. All pre-prod roots need quality control. There are 2 stages: pre-publication and post-publication quality control.

The intention is to build a strategic quality control tool in cloud (Azure) that could be used to improve the quality control over time.

Responsibilities
• Develop, test, and maintain high-quality software applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and issues.
• Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate best practices into development processes.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.
• Work closely with product managers to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Contribute to the design and architecture of software solutions.

Mandatory Skills
• Proficiency in software logic and lifecycle management, with experience in Python and Java programming, database querying, and working with various software components
• Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• Ability to analyze complex problems and implement effective solutions.
• Understanding of the various phases of software development, from design to deployment.
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and methodologies.
• Experience using version control systems such as Git for collaborative development.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks.

Nice-to-Have Skills
• Spark, Spark-Camel, machine learning knowledge
• C#, Springboot, Notebook, Query for db, Components
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Knowledge of agile development methodologies.
• Familiarity with mobile app development (iOS, Android).
• Certification in relevant technologies or programming languages.
