Qualifications
Experienced (relevant combo of work and education)
Bachelor of Business Administration
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or equivalent experience
Commercial software delivery experience is required, minimum of 5 years
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project)
Extensive knowledge of project management standards, processes, including industry best practices (Project Management Body of Knowledge - PMBOK)
Understanding of various IT project methodologies and life cycles
Knowledge of software industry standards (ISO, CMM, Six Sigma)
Familiarity with financial services industry and FIS products/services
Asset finance or lending experience

The pay range for this full-time position is $++,830.00 - $167,700.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location
Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training
Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay
Responsibilities
As a Pod Lead, you’ll oversee the day-to-day operations of the Project Management Office (PMO)
Your responsibilities include planning, coordinating, monitoring, and implementing very complex technical and/or non-technical programs to meet organizational goals
You will develop and support a group of Project Managers, providing guidance in their roles, championing PMP business practices and ensuring adherence to the PMP Delivery Excellence standards
You will also collaborate with leaders from across the Capital Markets project delivery teams, building a positive and productive working environment to achieve our common goals
Provide direction and manage day-to-day PMO operations
Oversee technical and/or non-technical programs for an FIS segment or division
Guide personnel responsible for the organization’s project portfolio
Define and develop project/program management best practices, processes, and policies
Partner with multi-departmental leadership to prioritize projects based on relevant criteria
Maintain project management efficiency (planning, scheduling, budget, risk assessment)
Supervise project and program managers to ensure successful project delivery

About the role:

What you bring:

• People Management experience, direct line management preferred
• Commercial software delivery experience is required, minimum of 5 years
