Armed Security Officer | 3rd Shift

Qualifications
At least 21 years old per state law
Own and possess firearm and holster
Experience with de-escalation training
Experience with conflict resolution
Experience with self-defense training
Experience with crowd-control
HS Diploma or GED
2+ years of experience as an armed security officer, law enforcement, or military
2+ years of experience in customer service
Current/Active state required license to carry, e.g. Concealed Pistol License (CPL), Concealed Weapons Permit (CCW), etc
Responsibilities
Our Armed Security Officers are tasked with securing the premises and personnel by staying on patrol, monitoring surveillance equipment, performing building inspections, guarding entry points, and verifying visitors
Secures the designated station with attention, discipline, and professionalism
Checks in facility visitors, guests, and employees
Ensures security SOPs are followed with strict adherence
Completes routine patrols of the facility perimeter to ensure security checkpoints are secure
Reacts and reports to onsite security related issues swiftly and without hesitation
Monitors facility security cameras to ensure the safety and security of the employees and company property
Ensures that security room, gate, doors, locks, rooms, camera system, etc
are in working order during designated shifts
Weekend availability - required to be available for at least one weekend day, Saturday, or Sunday

• Ensures security SOPs are followed with strict adherence

Required Skills/Abilities:

Education/Experience:
• HS Diploma or GED
• 2+ years of experience as an armed security officer, law enforcement, or military
• 2+ years of experience in customer service
• Current/Active state required license to carry, e.g. Concealed Pistol License (CPL), Concealed Weapons Permit (CCW), etc.
• First Aid/CPR Certified strongly preferred

Schedule/Availability
• Weekend availability - required to be available for at least one weekend day, Saturday, or Sunday
• Full weekend availability strongly preferred
