Qualifications
College degree or equivalent experience
Industry experience with either manufacturing, construction, building supply/materials, plastics, metals, or similar industry
Minimum 5 years experience in a warehouse or distribution leadership position
Must have strong knowledge of warehousing systems/ERP systems and be technologically savvy
Experience with Microsoft suite software
Responsibilities
Seeking a Warehouse management operations leader with strong experience in process improvement activities who is responsible for overseeing the efficient operation of warehouse operations which includes fleet and delivery management as well
Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping
Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
Utilize warehouse management software and other tools to streamline operations
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop strategies to achieve performance targets
Coordinate and schedule daily activities to meet business demands and customer requirements
Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular physical inventory counts
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the purchasing department to ensure adequate stock levels
Implement and manage inventory control systems to minimize discrepancies and losses
Oversee operations of the fleet, including scheduling, dispatching, and routing vehicles efficiently to maximize productivity and minimize downtime
Recruit, train, and supervise warehouse staff, including performance evaluations and development
Foster a positive and productive work environment, ensuring clear communication and teamwork
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations
Ensure a safe working environment by enforcing safety policies and procedures
Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions for warehouse staff
Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and industry standards

• Six Sigma certification or similar continuous improvement experience is highly desirable
• Industry experience with either manufacturing, construction, building supply/materials, plastics, metals, or similar industry
• Minimum 5 years experience in a warehouse or distribution leadership position
• Must have strong knowledge of warehousing systems/ERP systems and be technologically savvy
• Experience with Microsoft suite software
