Role: Embedded Software Engineer

Salary: up to £50,000

Location: Ripley (Office Based)

Are you an embedded engineer with schematic or PCB design experience? If you have enjoyed a bright start to your embedded career but are looking to further establish yourself at a growing electronics manufacturer, please read on.

In this role you’ll be working for a highly respected tech company that develops security products.

You will be programming in C/C++ (designing, developing, coding, testing and debugging). Working on a Linux/Ubuntu environments. This role is aimed at a junior/mid-level engineer with around 2/3 years of commercial experience as a developer. The company is truly a family orientated business where everyone supports each other. With that being said, your ideas and suggestions will be taken onboard.

The perfect person for this opportunity would be:
• Someone with a strong understanding of embedded environments
• Solid programming experience in C and C++
• Excellent diagnostic skills
• Hardware/PCB design
• Experience with Altium would be an advantage
• FPGA knowledge would be an advantage

We are offering a salary of between £40,000 - £50,000 with a great benefits package including 30 holidays (in addition to bank holidays). The office is based in Derbyshire (commutable from Nottingham, Mansfield and Derby) and you would be required to work in the office 4 days per week.
