Programmer

PROGRAMMER (NLP)

Applications are invited for the position of Programmer for the MeitY, Govt. of

India funded consortium project titled “Sanskrit Knowledge Accessor” at the

Department of Liberal Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences (DLHS), MAHE,

Yelahanka, Bengaluru. This is an on-site position and the Work from Home is not

possible.

Qualification:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computational Linguistics, or related field;

advanced degrees preferred. Proficiency in Python, Java, or C++; familiarity with

machine learning and statistical modeling. Understanding of linguistics principles,

syntax, semantics; knowledge of linguistic theories and methodologies is desirable.

Strong communication skills for collaboration with multidisciplinary teams; ability

to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.


Duration: Initially for one year. Extendable based on the performance.


Remuneration: Consolidated Pay of Rs. 40,000 (including HRA) per month.
