The Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktop Engineer (Infrastructure Engineering Advisor) This position will responsible with the GXI department as a member of our client Virtual Workspace Business Services team, who architects, builds, and delivers a Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktop platform utilized by over 70,000 users.
Skills:
• Expertise in compiling Citrix Application layers as they pertain to compiling images.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex issues as they pertain to the Citrix stack, Windows Server and Workstation Operating Systems and Applications
• Expert knowledge on managing Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops components in the cloud control plane.
• Experience working with Citrix Windows Environment Manager for Cloud (WEM).
• Experience working with Citrix Provisioning Services (PVS) and Citrix Machine Creation Services (MCS)
• Experience working with Citrix User Profile Manager (UPM) and Profile Unity (ProU)
• Experience working with various hypervisors, such as VMWare and Acropolis
• Ability to publish applications and desktops while testing with users to confirm successful implementations
• Experience working with Citrix Enterprise Layer Manager (ELM) is highly preferred.
• Ability to communicate with our customers, organize validation testing and business checkout as it pertains to the monthly image cycle.
• Work with our security partners on workstation and server compliance reporting for monthly Security patching.
• Familiar with project or work management concepts such as: ITIL, Scrum, LEAN, Agile, or DevOps.
