An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Manager/Accountant to join a thriving technology and telecoms firm based in Bedford. The successful candidate will play an integral part in managing financial activities, ensuring the company's financial health and economic sustainability. Client Details The employer is a well-established firm in the technology and telecoms industry with over 5000 employees worldwide. Description Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting & finance department. Monitor and analyse accounting data and produce financial reports or statements. Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles. Coordinate and complete annual audits. Meet financial accounting objectives. Implement and maintain internal financial controls and procedures. Manage budgeting and forecasting. Ensure compliance with the law and company's policies. Profile A successful Finance Manager/Accountant should have: A strong educational background in Accounting, Finance or a related field. Proven experience as a Finance Manager or similar role within the technology and telecoms industry. Proficiency in all aspects of corporate accounting and financial management. Experience with budget preparation and financial analysis. Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
