My client is a leading Marketing partner who work on behalf of a number of well-known and attractive brands based in Nottinghamshire, seeking a Tax Accountant on a permanent, full-time basis to join an established and interactive team. As Tax Accountant, based in Nottinghamshire, you will be responsible for the following: Provide vital support in the preparation of tax and other compliance returns Prepare and review VAT returns (UK and overseas) Review of balance sheet tax-related reconciliations by set deadlines, and assistance with the review of the annual PSA returns Monitor postings made to VAT accounts and ensuring all journals are supported by appropriate documentation and correctly posted Assist with setting up new VAT registrations across the world Complete system testing for new VAT rules and new products Providing VAT training to other teams Liaison with tax advisors overseas and in the UK The successful Tax Accountant will have the following experience: Solid experience working within a tax function Advanced Excel Skills VAT experience Import and Export knowledge As Tax Accountant, you will be entitled to the following: Permanent role £40,000 - £60,000 per annum 40 hours per week (8:30am - 5:30pm - 1 hr lunch) Friendly and collaborative team Free car park Modern Office space Pension Death in service 8 times your salary Healthcare and dental scheme Salary sacrifice scheme Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
