Assistant Accountant |Hybrid

Job description
Morgan McKinley is looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant - Assistant Accountant to work for a well established company based in Guildford, Surrey. The Assistant Accountant will work closely with the Accountant and Head of Finance assisting the finance team with everyday accounting and financial reporting. This is a hybrid working Assistant Accountant role and a great opportunity to join a growing business and finance team.

Salary: £28-32K

Location: Hybrid working, Guildford - Surrey

Assistant Accountant duties:
• Assist in the preparation of financial analysis, statements and reports
• Support with month end
• Preparing journal entries and reconciliations
• Invoice and payment processing
• Assist with the budget and forecast process
• Maintain the accounts, monitor transactions and update financial systems

Skills and experience:
• Experience of working in a similar Accounts Assistant / Finance Assistant / Assistant Accountant type role
• Good IT skills and accounting software experience such as; Sage
• Excellent analytical skills
