Job description
We're working with a PE-backed consumer business with an international reach, who are among the major players in their industry. They are an established yet growing SME business who are now a household name, boasting numerous high profile marketing campaigns over recent times.

They are now looking to recruit a Commercial Finance Analyst on a permanent basis, reporting into the Head of Commercial Finance and with dotted lines into the Sales, Marketing and Commercial leads.
• Preparation and analysis of weekly flash trading and KPI reports to deliver insight to the Executive Management Team
• Drive strategic initiatives through well thought out analysis, including modelling the financial impact of business decisions and investments
• Prepare materials and high-quality presentations for Board Meetings, Shareholders and other key stakeholders
• Business partner Sales, Marketing, Commercial and Ops teams to optimise ROI
• Forecasting and Planning - leading quarterly sales planning cycles; responsible for the commercial forecast of marketing promotional campaigns
• Responsible for margin and product analysis and providing ongoing insight into product category trends and margin optimisation opportunities

They're looking for a part-qualified (most likely finalist) ACCA / CIMA accountant with extensive commercial finance analysis and business partnering experience, ideally within the consumer / retail / space. Exceptional communication and presentation skills are absolutely essential, as is an advanced knowledge of Excel and related data tools.
